Abstract: The construction of an independent knowledge system in Chinese philosophy and social sciences has established a value coordinate for talent cultivation in the discipline of Information Resources Management. A high-quality talent cultivation system, in turn, serves as the core support for the continuous generation, effective transmission, and iterative innovation of the discipline's independent knowledge system. From the perspective of building an independent knowledge system, this research aims to systematically analyze the practical approaches of the discipline's talent cultivation. Focusing on the structure of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree education in the discipline, this research examines the distribution characteristics, scale evolution, and hierarchical structure of degree programs, and explores future development pathways for degree education. Centered on the demand profile of disciplinary talents rooted in the logic of independent development, this research discusses innovative paths for curriculum, teaching materials, and teaching organization, forming a closed loop of education that promotes teaching research through scientific research and guides teaching through teaching research. Focusing on the construction of a talent cultivation model guided by the independent knowledge system, key focal points include cultivating talents with both patriotic and community-oriented virtues and the ability to serve society, based on strategic guidance and scenario adaptation. Meanwhile, this research emphasizes establishing a long-term mechanism for cultivating disciplinary talents that balances both academic hotspots and less popular areas, and deepening the interdisciplinary talent cultivation paradigms oriented towards cross-disciplinary innovation.
