Abstract: Digital reading has become people's main reading method, and exploring the issue of reading privacy is conducive to promoting the healthy development of the digital reading industry and protecting public information privacy. It is found that acquiring dangerous privileges and sharing data with third-party data collection companies has become a common trend in the digital reading market, while obscure privacy policies make it difficult for users to understand the data sharing status of applications, and users are losing control over their reading privacy. On this basis, we propose a multi-faceted and coordinated governance system that includes legal protection, government regulation, corporate responsibility, and user attention, in order to provide reference for the research and practice of reading privacy protection.
