Abstract:

Improving information service strategies based on the performance evaluation of P2P network lending platforms is of great significance to promote their healthy development. This paper analyzed the characteristics of P2P network lending platforms. 10 indicators, such as the content of the website, the amount of links and the influence of the website, were selected to construct the performance evaluation system from the perspective of multi-input and multi-output. In the empirical study, 20 well-known P2P network lending platforms were studied and the BCC model of data envelopment analysis was applied to evaluate the operation performance of these research samples. Data analysis results showed that only 13 of the 20 platforms were valid, while the remaining 7 were non-DEA valid. The operation efficiency was significantly correlated with the content structure, the link volume and the influence of the platform. Strengthening the content construction and increasing the intensity of the P2P network lending platforms will play a positive role in the process of improving the operation efficiency and users’ continuous attention.
