Abstract:

The “2018 Tianfu Forum on Scientometrics and Evaluation” was held in Chengdu from September 19th to 21st. The theme of this forum is “Theory, Method and Application of Scientometrics and Evaluation”. As an important academic activity of this forum, “Full-text Bibliometrics Analysis” Salon provided an open discussion platform for scholars. This paper summarized the speeches and discussions of the salon and concluded the main contents into six themes to reveal the research status and development trends in full-text bibliometrics analysis. The themes of this salon include citation location and citation degree analysis, citation behavior and citation motivation analysis, citation sentiment analysis and article evaluation, knowledge unit and entity extraction, data opening, data annotation and evaluating, emerging topics discovering and predicting.
