Abstract:

Based on the theory of planned behavior, an influential factors model of user participation in wearable device innovation is proposed. Then an empirical study based on the data collected by questionnaire is conducted to confirm its validation. The results show that perceived behavioral control has no significant effect on user innovation behavior. The user’s attitude towards participation, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have significant positive effects on the intention of innovation. User’s personal needs, self-develop need and participation fun have positive effects on the attitude towards participation. Group factors and reciprocal relations have positive effects on subjective norm. Self-efficacy and innovation environment have positive effects on perceived behavioral control.
