Abstract: The life cycle of scientific data is the premise to realize the open sharing and value-added utilization of scientific data, which is conducive to solving the problems of scientific data management and further enhancing the practical value of scientific data. In this paper, through the network investigation and case study, from the perspective of theory and case analysis of scientific data lifecycle process at home and abroad, on this basis, through literature research, specific tasks in different stages of the object, has constructed the task object, task partition general process of clear scientific data life cycle, mainly including data generation and acquisition, data description and organization, data processing and analysis, data preservation and storage, data published and Shared five stages. From the perspective of data ecology chain and according to task object types, the life cycle operation process of scientific data is further refined in order to lay a theoretical foundation for theoretical research and practical exploration of scientific data in China.
