Abstract:

The measurement of users’ cognitive load reflects their psychological process in information processing. This paper selects literature about cognitive load measurement in Library & Information Science(LIS) and analyzes from three aspects: measurement method, measurement index and research field. Finally, this paper summarizes five research inspiration of cognitive load measurement in LIS and provide a reference for the further study of cognitive load measurement in Information Science.
