Abstract:

This paper conducts an influencing factor model about the intention of using the personal cloud storage service based on the technology acceptance model, D&M IS success model, the uses and gratifications theory, as well as perceived popularity. 268 valid sample data were collected by questionnaire survey, and the empirical study was carried out by using structural equation modeling method. The results show that the system quality and perceived popularity positively affect perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, further affecting the intention to use; information demand has a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness, but we did not find a significant relationship between social demand and perceived usefulness; service quality has no significant effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use; perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have direct significant effect on intention to use, and perceived usefulness has a stronger impact on intention to use than perceived ease of use.
