Abstract:

In this paper, from the point of view of the basic composition of scientific researches, the state-of-art big data researches in medical and healthcare are reviewed through analyzing related literatures retrieved from Web of Science. First, the research subjects are explored by bibliometric analysis, including countries, disciplines, institutions and funding agencies. Then, the data objects and data characteristics of the existing researches are summarized as well as the world famous open medical data resources by content analysis. At last, the main contents and themes of healthcare big data researches are analyzed from three aspects: basic research, applied research and development research.
