Abstract:

With the development of science and technology, the theory of virtual reality has been rapidly developed and widely used. In this paper, we collect, reorganize, and execute visual analysis on the data of virtual reality in Web of Science. Besides, based on the five aspects of hot topics, co-occurrence of keywords, co-citation and clustering of literatures, the evolution trends of keywords and the study on mutation, we explore the research hotspots and evolution trends in this field. Analysis results show that the number of articles in the field of virtual reality is increasing steadily, and America, China and the European Union have strong research strength; the top four hot subjects are computer, engineering, heal care and psychology, and they will continue receiving more attention in the future.
