Abstract:
The sociality and communication characteristic of scientific research has attracted more researchers and made them come to realize the functions of Web2.0 in scientific research, thus to use various Web 2.0 tools for their research activities. Through literature review and case studies, this paper explains functions of Web 2.0 in scientific research, i.e., facilitating knowledge communication and sharing, serving for online self-presentation, and accelerating personal publishing and knowledge dissemination, hoping to better foster the adoption and continuance usage of Web2.0.
