Structural Features and Hot Spots of Domestic Privacy Research in the Past 20 Years

Abstract:

Based on the core journals’ papers of privacy research in China from 1998 to the present, the research on the field of privacy in China is systematically summarized and combed by the methods of coword analysis, content analysis and cluster analysis and the intrinsic characteristics and development rules of domestic privacy research are summarized and analyzed from the macro level and the micro level. In the past 20 years, the research hotspot in China's privacy field has been on the rise, and it shows a trend of accelerating development. The research in the field of domestic privacy has gone through three stages: exploring privacy protection from a legal perspective using technology to protect privacy providing privacy protection services according to user privacy behaviors. Hot topics and cuttingedge topics in current privacy research include location privacy protection, privacy forgotten rights, privacy concerns, differential privacy and so on. Future research trends in the field of privacy in China include the discussion of privacy rights in the context of new technologies, the privacypersonalization paradox in the mobile Internet era, and privacy protection in the 5G network era.
