Abstract:
Social questionandanswer services gradually become the main channel to seek for health information and social support. The current paper collects and summarizes papers about users’ information behavior on social Q&A platforms conducted by foreign researchers in recent years by using a combined search strategies of Database Search and Retrospective Search. And then it classifies the theme of selected papers into six categories: Health Information Evaluation, Health Information Sharing Behavior, Health Information Seeking Behavior, Health Information Needs, Health Information Use Behavior and Users’ characteristics. We hope that the results can provide the basis and guidance for Chinese scholars to conduct research on users’ health information behavior.
