Abstract:

Based on the information seeking behavior of users in China Southern Power Grid, the study explores the user motivations for information acquisition in large state-owned power grid enterprise, and analyzes it from the point of work task, qualification and the dependence on information. The results show the users of large state-owned powr grid enterprise usually have clear purposes and needs, and different variables have some impact on them. At last, the authors propose some suggestions to the function design of information platform and user training respectively.
