Abstract:
As a newborn information technology, cloud computing has had a certain impact on the libraries and librarians, it covers the services which are used to be realized by digital library or Web 2.0 technologies, such that it can be applied in the collecting, storage and circulation of libraries. In this paper, we discuss the opportunities and challenges brought by cloud computing, as a result we draw the future of the duties of librarians: critically thinking about cloud computing; offering professional service; providing personalized service.
