Abstract:

It is useful to understand the dynamic research of international counterparts for our Library and Information Science’s construction and improvement. This article, based on classification codes of the Journals of EI, compares and analyzes the relevant departments of Library and Information Science of 87 colleges and universities in China and the United States between 2001-2011 by the cluster analysis、 multidimensional scaling analysis, and factor analysis, and divides them into a few categories. Not only China-US have some same hot research, such as Computer Software, Data Processing and Applications、Computer Applications and so on, but also they have respective characteristics.
