A Brief Study of Collaborative Business Intelligence System

Abstract:

Traditional Business Intelligence(BI) applications are mainly aimed at serving individual companies. However, facing the challenges of the Big Data, cooperation is becoming a new trend for BI. This paper talks about the related theories of collaborative business intelligence, and some cases of collaborative business intelligence systems are presented to explore the structure, functions and application. By brief analysis and comparison of collaborative business intelligence systems’ structures and differences between collaborative business intelligence systems and traditional business intelligence systems, some suggestions are given to the implementation of collaborative business intelligence systems and the improvement of the companies’ capabilities of information processing, analyzing and mining.
