Abstract:

On the basis of three years investigations on offshore IT outsourcing enterprises that we have done, we designed a questionnaire, and conducted a field survey of the employees from about 20 outsourcing enterprises’ information systems department in Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park, Shanghai Pudong Software Park, and Xi’an Software Park. We collected 293 samples and used SPSS16.0 and AMOS17.0 to conduct the statistical analysis. The empirical results show the correlation among culture similarity, relational norms, innovation and knowledge sharing and their direct effects on IS outsourcing performance. Also boundary spanning plays a regulating function on their effects on IS outsourcing performance. At last, we provide some managerial applications.
