Abstract: The measurement of academic communication level of academic journals is a meaningful problem. It is of great significance for academic journals to increase knowledge and information content and strengthen academic communication. This paper believes that there are great differences between academic journals and other media in terms of information content, function time, dynamic mechanism and communication effect. Journal communication factor was put forward based on the theory of kinetic energy in physics. And empirical analysis was made on the basis of CSSCI journal of Library, Information and Philology and CNKI database. The results show that the journal communication factor is an important index to evaluate the academic communication level, the influence factor has little correlation with the journal communication factor, while the h index has positive correlation with the journal communication factor. The combination of the journal communication factor and the influence factor can prevent human manipulation.
