Abstract: As big data become increasingly influential in the field of medicine, ontology plays a crucial part in representing and organizing medical knowledge. Medical knowledge has complex concepts and relationships, and requires accuracy and authority, which brings challenges to medical ontology construction. This paper proposes a domain ontology construction method (reasoning-reuse method) to construct medical ontologies reliably and efficiently. Reasoning-reuse method initializes the concepts and relationships of domain knowledge first to ensure the accuracy of the ontology structure. Then knowledge reasoning based on ontology and rules is used to expand the ontology scale. Finally, the evaluation feedback mechanism is used to evaluate the structure and function of the ontology. This paper uses this method to construct the brain-autism ontology for the first time, and add knowledge reasoning and evaluation in the ontology construction process, realizing the knowledge discovery, self-expansion and perfection of the ontology.
