Revealing the Research Focus of Online Community at Home and Abroad

Abstract:

As a kind of virtual user interactive platform, the online community is one of the hot topics focused by many domestic and foreign scholars at present. A comprehensive study of the focus of online community research at home and abroad can provide reference for future research on related topics. This article analyzes the literature data collected from Web of Science and CNKI from three aspects: time, periodical and institutional distribution,in order to analyze the development of the topic research of network community. Based on the keyword activity index (KAI) and the keyword influence index (KII), the distribution of research focus in different disciplines for online community research is measured. By constructing the superiority disciplines judgment matrix of online community research, it is found that the related researches of online community at home and abroad mainly focus on the fields of news media, library and information science, computer science, sociology and corporate economics. However, the researches on online communities both at home and abroad and among different subjects show typical scientific backgrounds and subject attribute.
