Abstract: As an activity to improve data utilization, expand the scope of data utilization and develop the value of data innovation, open data contest has been widely adopted by scientific research, government and cultural institutions in recent years, and it is also used in the promotion and value co-creation of various Digital Humanities projects and platforms, data, technologies and methods. Based on the status quo of open data contests at home and abroad, especially digital humanities and digital academic open data contests, the paper takes the open data contest of Shanghai Library as an example to discuss the role , contribution, mode and path in the development and utilization of red cultural information resources.
