Abstract: Taking domestic Management as an example, the paper tries to explore the characteristics of social science researchers' data reuse behaviors, so as to provide references for the scientific data management and service of library and information institutions. Using content analysis method and taking 1188 empirical research papers of authoritative Management journals as samples, the authors' information, the basic situation of data reuse, the evaluation before data acquisition, the processing after data acquisition, the use after data evaluation were coded, and the regularities and characteristics of social science researchers' data reuse behaviors were revealed by descriptive statistical analysis; Logistic regression and chi-square test were executed to explore whether age, gender and seniority have a significant influence on social science researchers' decisions to reuse, and whether age, gender and seniority have a significant influence on social science researchers' choices of data types. In the field of Management, data reuse is highly popular and on the rise; In regards to data source, datasets originated from governments and organizations as well as commercial databases account for the majority of reuse data; The top two criteria for data evaluation are accuracy and accessibility; The most common data processing is "filtering"; Data references are dominated by "notes or annotations"; As to data type, quantitative data are the major data type for data reuse, while qualitative data are the secondary data type for data reuse; Age has a significant influence on social science researchers' choices of data types; Older researchers are more inclined to reuse qualitative data, while younger researchers are more inclined to reuse quantitative data; The influences of age, gender and seniority on social science researchers' decisions to reuse have not been determined.
