Abstract: The establishment of the Internet in China started in the early 1990s and had a history of nearly 30 years. Through the interview with Professor Ma Yan, one of the participants in the construction of the global connection of China Education and Research Network, this paper sorts out the whole process of the construction of China's Internet infrastructure in education and scientific research in early days, and combining the current development of China's Internet with IPv6, discusses the current opportunities and difficulties faced by China's Internet development, then puts forward relevant suggestions.
