Abstract: As a new way of scholarly communication, open access has exerted a great influence on the scholarly communication activities in all aspects since the rise of open access movement. It is certain that the researchers, as the basic elements of scholarly communication system, are affected by the open access movement. This paper analyzes the detailed influence that open access brings to the researchers from the following aspects: the access to research information, the publishing of research achievement and its research impact.
