Abstract:

Text and Data Mining is one of the important research tools in the data driven innovation era. Some publishers asked for additional license which made copyright the focus of controversy again. The paper introduces the European Union legal framework in the perspective of both copyright and sui generis, and the progress in the revision of copyright law of the United Kingdom which makes positive impact on library information services.
