Abstract:

The increasing demand for intelligence services and the “Cold War” have contributed to brilliant achievements in information science. The current ubiquitous information environment and situation both at home and abroad have strengthened the most fundamental function of information science. The integration of academic research will not affect the core of information science. There is still a long way to go in the construction of general theory of information science. The usage of some key terms in the construction of Information Science cannot be ignored. In the development of Information Science, how to utilize Information Science to serve the society should be paid attention to.
