Abstract:

The paper explores the management mode of government social media records from the perspective of management main bodies, concluding the existing practices of social media records management in Britain, the United States and Australia: centralized mode dominated by memory institutions and distributed mode led by government agencies. With analyzing the experience and the whole social media management situation, it attempts to put forward a suitable management mode of government social media in China which is cooperation and participation management mode. At last, it proposes some suggestions for the government social media management in the future.
