Abstract:

This paper describes the application of digital resources selection norm/ standard and its’ troubles in the programs of long-term preservation of digital resources in China, points out that the resources selection criteria of Memory of the World Register can be used for reference to digital resources selection activities in long-term preservation of digital resources, and proposes some digital resources selection strategies such as creating the importance judging index of digital resources, clearing the type of resources, and developing the ways of the digital resources selection.
