Abstract:

Taking the preference of information source trust of information users in China Southern Power Grid as example, the study explores the difference of user trust in various types of information sources, and its relation to work task, qualification, and the dependence on information in large power grid enterprises. It finds that enterprise users have more trust in internal information sources and conventional information sources than external information sources and emerging information sources, and are uncertain about commercial information sources and the information published by public sectors. In response to these phenomena, the authors propose some suggestions to the information platform design, information service, and user training in public enterprises.
