Abstract:

In recent years, Chinese scholars have conducted a lot of exploration on government information resource research. The visualization of the structure of topics and evolutionary veins in our study can benefit us to understand the research status and development trend more intuitively. On the basis of CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure), topic words and their co-occurrence relations were extracted. With the aid of co-occurrence theory, the distribution of topics of government information resource research, correlation structures, and evolution patterns were revealed and visualized. The findings of our study revealed that topics in government information resource research in China cover broadly and are relatively concentrated in the past 5 years; but their distribution is unbalanced. There are 5 distinguished topic communities or research directions in terms of centrality and maturity, and they all establish their own systems and tend to be mature. Although there are several topics with long continuity in Government Information Resource research, it is not stable in general with many intermittent or isolated topics worthy of exploration.
