Research on the Relationship between Information Infrastructure and Industrialization Based on VAR Model

摘要:

采用1992~2012年我国长途光缆线路长度、工业生产总值时间序列数据,运用向量自回归模型(VAR)分析工业化与信息基础设施关系。研究结论显示:信息基础设施与工业化之间存在长期均衡关系,信息基础设施增加1%,工业生产总值约增长4%;信息化基础设施对工业化波动的贡献率逐步上升,工业化对信息基础设施波动的贡献率小于自身的影响;信息基础设施与工业化之间存在单向的因果关系。

Abstract:

Using time series data of China’s length of long distance optical cable lines and gross domestic product of industry in 1992-2012, the paper exams on the relationship between industrialization and information infrastructure by vector autoregression model (VAR). The paper concludes that: the long-run equilibrium relationship exits in between information infrastructure and industrialization, that is, the gross domestic product of industry increases 4%, a 1% rises in information infrastructure; The contribution rate of information infrastructure playing on the industrialization fluctuation sets a gradually rising while the contribution rate of industrialization on information infrastructure fluctuation is less. Information infrastructure is the Granger reason of industrialization, but industrialization is not a Granger cause of information infrastructure.
