Abstract:

Public sector information (PSI) contains enormous economic and social value. Based on the investigation and analysis, the author finds that:(1)PSI can mostly reduce the decision risk, promote the technology innovation and save the production cost from the view of enterprises;(2)PSI value are widely accepted by Private enterprises, Information Industries and Scientific Technology Services;(3)The number of information department staff，the information infrastructure investment and the approval of PSI value are positively related. To maximize the value of PSI, the author suggests that we should improve the rules and regulations to ensure the information symmetrical and reasonable flow between enterprises and public sector; exploit and re-use PSI to raise the efficiency of enterprise decision; improve the licensing mechanism to reduce the cost of access to PSI; strengthen the enterprise informatization to enhance the ability of PSI adoption.
